Grow a Garden: Plants Tier List

In the Grow a Garden Game, crops are at the core of your farming journey. You can plant various flora to make your farmland more beautiful. With every update, the variety of plants keeps increasing, and players now have a massive selection of crops to choose from. Some crops are not profitable since certain ones are temporary plants that disappear after being harvested, while others regrow but are relatively inexpensive. Here’s a comprehensive Plants (Crops) Tier List explaining all the available crops and which ones are worth your investment.

Grow a Garden plants TIER LIST

  • S Tier – Overpowered and insanely profitable. Must-haves if you can get them.
  • A Tier – Excellent return on investment. Often hard to get, but worth it.
  • B Tier – Good choices with solid returns. Efficient for mid-game players.
  • C Tier – Okay crops, but situational or one-time use.
  • D Tier – Weak income or utility. Not worth planting in most cases.
  • F Tier – Avoid these. Terrible ROI, slow growth, or just plain useless.

S TIER – The Gods of Gardening

  • Candy Blossom 🍭 – Wildly overpowered. Sells for insane amounts. Absolute king.
  • Golden Mango 🥭 – Huge ROI. 100K buy, sells for ~6.5K+. Great scaling.
  • Golden Pineapple 🍍 – Reproduces. Great for consistent high-end profits.
  • Grapes 🍇 – High cost (850K), but each fruit can net you 10K+. Worth it if you can afford it.

A TIER – Almost Perfect Picks

  • Mango 🥭 – Slightly below S-tier, but phenomenal value for its cost.
  • Orange Tulip 🌷 – Early game MVP. Cheap (~60) and sells for ~700. One-time, but 10x profit.
  • Cursed Root 🧟 – Very strong if unlocked, but locked behind Robux/paywall.
  • Blue Pineapple 🔷🍍 – A strong exotic crop; not essential, but a solid performer.

B TIER – Worth Considering

  • Dragon Fruit 🐉 – Moderate value, but great reproduction and exotic status.
  • Papaya 🧃 – Easy to get, low-mid value. Good early free option.
  • Passion Fruit 💜 – Better than papaya. Decent if you get it from seed packs.
  • Banana 🍌 – Mid-value, but pay-to-win locks it for some.
  • Green Bottle Gourd 🥒 – Solid pick if acquired. Produces steadily.

C TIER – Average and Situational

  • Cactus 🌵 – Reproduces, sells okay, but slow growth.
  • Chocolate Carrot 🍫🥕 – One-time use. Just a novelty.
  • Strawberry 🍓 – Cheap, but not worth unless planted in bulk.

F TIER – Do NOT Plant These

  • Corn 🌽 – Costs 1,300, sells for 40. Terrible value.
  • Coconut 🥥 – Reproducible, but horrible profit margin.
  • Carrot 🥕 – Dirt cheap and dirt poor returns.
  • Pear 🍐 – Useless daily quest drop.
  • Tomato 🍅 – Outclassed by almost every other crop.
  • Watermelon 🍉 – One-time use, low profit.
  • Bamboo 🎋 – Break-even at best. Not reproducible.

Tips

  • Mutations change everything: A rainbow or shocked crop can turn even D-tier into gold.
  • Use sprinklers and water cans to increase mutation and reproduction chances.
  • Always lock S-tier crops so no one steals them if your garden is public.
  • Stack reproducible plants like Mango, Grape, and Apple for consistent harvests.
  • Check daily packs and quests – many crops like Papaya and Passion Fruit come free.
